Privacy
What we collect
When you sign up we keep your email address, a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), your business name, country, trade and time zone. Inside the app we keep the customers, quotes and jobs you add.
Why
To run your account and show your own information back to you. If you sign up with the job email on a claimed Tradie Guide listing, the two are linked so your dashboard can count that listing's enquiries.
Where
Data is stored in a managed Postgres database in the Sydney region and served through Cloudflare. A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. There is no advertising and no tracking cookie on Tradie Business.
Spam protection
The sign-up and forgot-password forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person is using them.
We send account emails (password reset links and a link to confirm your email address) and the quotes you choose to email to your customers. Email is sent through SendGrid. We keep a record that an email was sent and its delivery id, not its contents. A customer who gets a quote by email also gets a private view-only link to it, which search engines are told not to index.
Access and deletion
You can see and edit everything you've added from inside the app.
